FY2017 budget passes second reading

Депутаты единогласно приняли проект бюджета во втором чтении

The 2017 Budget today passed the second reading in the House of Representatves of the National Assembly. During the vote, there were 100 out of 110 members of parliament. 98 voted in favor, with 2 not taking part in the vote.

Euroradio reported earlier the 2017 surplus budget envisages a 9% salary rise for public sector workers. Income will be BYN1.5 billion more than loss, and the difference will be used to service the state foreign debt.

The budget is based on the crude oil price at $35 per barrel and inflation at 15-17%.

На першым галасаванні па бюджэце 98 дэпутатаў прагаласавала за, 1 — супраць і 5 не галасавала. Падчас абмеркавання толькі адзін дэпутат задаў два пытанні міністру фінансаў Уладзіміру Амарыну. На прыняцце рашэння дэпутатам хапіла 40 хвілін.
