Free visas to “Be2gether” festival till June 1, tickets are getting more expensive!

It will be possible to ask for a visa in the Lithuanian Embassy starting from tomorrow. However, it is already possible to acquire tickets to “Be2gether-2009”! The terms of filing for free visas to go to an international musical festival “Be2gether” that will take place near Norviliskes Castle in Lithuania from June 12 till June 14 have been announced. It will be necessary to file for visas until June 1 (inclusive).  Meanwhile, the cost of tickets will be going up steadily.

ERB has phoned the consular department of the Embassy and found out the terms of getting free visas:

“The filing is possible from Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. by appointment. It is necessary to bring passports”.

The term of getting a visa is up to 10 days and the passport has to remain in the Embassy for this period. The visas will be valid from June 11 till June 15. In order to get a visa, it is necessary to have a valid passport with blank pages, an insurance for the term of the visit, a coloured photo (35x45 mm, face taking 70% of it), two parts of a festival ticket (Lithuanian and Belarusian – they are sold in Belarus together!) and their copies. Furthermore, it will be necessary to fill in a questionnaire in the Embassy and to indicate the purpose of your visit – festival “Be2gether”.

"Be2gether" will be organized on the border of Belarus and Lithuania for the third time. The festival will take place 150 km away from Minsk on the territory of Norviliskes Castle. Performances will be held round the clock on June 12 and 13 and end on the afternoon of June 14.

"We are gathering interesting artists from all over the world and do everything to help Belarusian people enjoy the music and have a good time”, - says the organizer of the festival Giedrius Klimkevičius.

As usual, it will be rather hot in the two scenes of the festival – rock of different kinds, synthpop and dance projects. This year’s headliners will be Gogol Bordello (USA), Clawfinger (Sweden), Touch And Go (Great Britain), Polarkreis 18 (Germany) and Roni Size (Great Britain). Belarus will be represented by “Lyapis Trubetskoi” in the main scene.

The organizers of “Be2gether” festival have informed ERB about three new bands that will perform in the Norviliskes scene this year. We are expecting a dose of stylish music from such bands as “Snake and Jet‘s Amazing Bullit Band” (Denmark), “Miloopa” (Poland) and “TV-OFF”.

The starting price of a ticket for all days of the festival is 142 thousand roubles. However, the price will keep increasing as the festival approaches (both in Lithuania and Belarus). Tickets costing 160 thousand roubles will appear soon. It is possible to order and buy tickets by phone: (029) 6 5555 96, (033) 6 5555 96, and on the website www.soundline.by.
