The Interior Ministry's Organized Crime and Anti-Corruption Department has identified that 15 official football matches were fixed in Belarus, reports ONT.

29 games are under suspicion. According to the police officials, the teams from the premier league, 1st and 2nd leages were involved in match-fixing in the 2017/18 season. "We have examples when not less than ten players in one match participated in match-fixing," the head of the department said.

The police seek to introduce amendments in the current football-related laws, including criminal prosecution not only for match-fixing in official matches but also in friendly matches on the territory of Belarus.
