Six players of the Belarusian soccer team will not play in the final qualifying matches of the European Championship 2016 in football against Slovakia and Macedonia.
According to the chief coach Aliaksandr Khatskevich, reported by BelaPAN, the players are Ihar Shytau, Raman Behunou, Aliaksandr Hleb, Tsimafei Kalachou, Ivan Mayeuski, Siarhei Karnilenka.
An away match against Slovakia take place on 9 October, and the national team players will play MAcedonia at home on October 12.
Khatskevich called the absence of these six players non-fatal, as the team is not fighting for reaching the final of Euro 2016. According to him, now the other players will have a chance to show themselves.
Group C after eight stages: Spain - 21 points (18-3 goal difference), Slovakia - 19 (13/05), Ukraine - 16 (12-3), Belarus - 7 (7-14), Luxembourg - 4 (4-19), Macedonia - 3 (6-16).
