Five-a-side tournament dated for 90th anniversary of BPR ends in Brest

The “Zvyazda” team of the Belarusian Communist Party has become the first team to win the Five-a-side Cup at a tournament dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the BPR in Brest. According to a member of the steering committee of the competition – the deputy head of Brest Regional affiliate of the Belarusian Social-Democratic party (Hramada) Valyantsin Lazarenkau, the “Black Star” team of anarchists was second and the team of BNF “Pahonya” was third.

Five teams took part in the competition. The team of BSDP (H) “Young Hramada” occupied the fourth place and players from the Free Belarusian Trade Union – the fifth one.

"The Day of Will Five-a-side Cup of Independence will be organized every year”, - informed U.Lazarenkau. According to him, the tradition of celebrating the anniversary of the establishment of the BPR with a football tournament started 8 years ago.
