Ex-Belneftekhim CEO Volkau handed final indictment
Investigators have finalized Uladzimir Volkau's bribery case.
He is accused of taking bribes, Interfax-West reports. Volkau is charged with 8 incidents of bribery that can be classified as crimes. Alyaksandr Lukashenka commented on the Belneftekhim ex-CEO yesterday:
"Do you remember Volkau? The PM and senior vice PM defended him: ‘Volkau is like a saint.’ However, 8 out of his 11 bribes were technically registered.”
Vladimir Volkau’s property has already been arrested (two flats in Minsk, a garage, a BMW X5 and about 100 thousand dollars).
The criminal case has been sent to the prosecutor.
