European commission urges Russia and Ukraine to organize gas supplies to Europe

European commission has urged Russia as a gas supplier and Ukraine as a transit country to fulfil their commitments and supply Europe with “the blue fuel”.
A representative of the European commission noted that the gas conflict between Russia and Ukraine was “a bilateral problem”.

The situation concerning Russia gas supplies to Europe is supposed to be discussed at a meeting of official representatives of 27 EU member states in Brussels on Monday.

As the Czech Prime Minister Alexander Vondra noted, the European Union was not going to take anybody’s side in the gas conflict. According to him, it is a commercial dispute, reports the “RIA Novosti” agency.

Let us remind you that Poland, Romania and Bulgaria have registered the decreasing level of gas supplies from Russia across the territory of Ukraine as the country is taking it away although it is not authorized to.
