EU publishes Ukrainian black list (document)

The document was published in the Official Journal of the European Union. “All assets and economic resources belonging to people returned guilty of misappropriating Ukraine’s state money and human rights violation... are to be frozen,” the document says.

Ex-President Victor Yanukovich it the first person on the black list. His sons Olexander and Victor are also there. Former Minister of Internal Affairs Victor Pshonka and his son Artyom, ex-PM Mykola Azarov and his son Alexei, former Head of the President’s Administration Andrii Kliuiev, his brother Serhyi and his ex-deputy Andrii Portanov, former Head of Security Service Olexander Yakymenko, ex-Minister of Justice Olena Lukash, ex-Minister of Education Dmytro Tabachnyk, former Minister of Health Raisa Bohatyiova, former adviser to the President of Ukraine Ihor Kalinin and businessman Serhyi Kurchenko are also on the list.

 The sanctions were imposed for a year on March 6.
