Denmark will keep issuing visas to Belarusians, said the head of the Danish Foreign Ministry, Jeppe Kofod, at a meeting with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.

Tsikhanouskaya noted that Denmark had stopped issuing visas to Belarusians a couple of weeks ago and asked to renew this process.

The Danish foreign minister replied that they're now seeking opportunities to issue visas in Minsk. Meanwhile, Belarusians may apply for visas in other countries.

Kofod also assured Tsikhanouskaya that Denmark is against lifting sanctions against Lukashenka's regime in exchange for the transit of grain from Ukraine.

Tsikhanouskaya suggested that the head of Danish diplomacy should include the deputies of the House of Representatives of Belarus, who voted for the repressive laws, in the seventh package of the European Union sanctions.
