"Concert on the Grass" unexpectedly postponed

"Concert on the Grass", which was supposed to take place on May 28 at "Shabli" farmstead has been unexpectedly postponed till June 11. The reason for this has been the necessity to coordinate this event with the local authorities. Like, concerts of this kind are considered mass events and need to be conducted in accordance with the law. The host of "Shabli" farmstead, in his turn, is convinced that the concert is not a mass event and gets into the category "agro-tourism".

Let us remind you, the bands "J-Mors" with the program "Much Sky" and "Krambambulia" with a new program "Drabadzi-Drabada" were supposed to be the headliners of the concert. It was also planned to present an animation movie "Let's be Belarusians!"

Euroradio's information: Concerts in Belarus may be conducted in accordance with two laws. If an event is taking place in a club or in a concert hall, organizers should warn the local authorities in a free form 5 days before the event. If a concert or a festival takes place in an open space, where more than 1,5 thousand people can present, it gets into a category "mass event" and should be coordinated with different instances.
