College professor dies from accidental shot in Haradok

A hunter who also worked as a professor with the local agricultural college shot himself today in the morning at his working place in Haradok, northern Belarus.
His hunting rifle accidentally fell down on the floor, triggering a shot. The bullet entered 56-year-old man's head, so he died on the spot. The local prosecutor told the European Radio for Belarus that the hunter did not seem to be suicidal and had no personal or working problems.

The tragedy has been described as an accident. Investigators are now checking whether safety regulations were violated by the college administration.
