Candidate promises to restore Maladzechna Province

He wants to restore Maladziecna Province ‘like it used to be in 1960’, ‘from Lithuania to Zaslauye, from Latvia and the Daugava to Lida and Navahrudak', parliamentary candidate Mihaial Valynets said on STV. The districts that used to be part of Maladziecna Province voted for Zyanon Paznyak at the presidential election in 1994, he reminded.

Maladzecha Province existed in 1944-1960. It was divided between Hrodna, Minsk and Viciebsk provinces at the beginning of 1960.

 

Mihail Valynets is an unaffiliated candidate in Maladzieca constituency No 72. He also mentioned the catastrophic decrease in the number of Belarusian language schools, called for fight against alcoholism and suggested banning casinos and punishing both prostitutes and their clients.
