BNF candidates to explain party position in electronic mass media
BNF deputy contenders will not accept the money allocated for printing leaflets so that they would not have to return it to the state afterwards. It is known that the BNF party has decided to withdraw its candidates from the elections of deputies of the House of Representatives. It will happen on September 23, five days before the elections. However, the deputy head of the party Victar Ivashkevich has informed ERB that candidates will continue their agitation and BNF “will use its own resources for it”:
"In connection with our decision to withdraw our candidates, our materials will not popularize our candidates - they will explain the position of the party”.
At the same time, the party is going to make use of free air time on TV and radio.
The leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Lyabedzka thinks that it is the first time the opposition has had an opportunity “to get about 80 thousand dollars from Lukashenka” (each candidate receives about 800 dollars) and to use it to work with people:
"The best variant for our candidates is to use the money and to preserve independence in taking decisions. There are pros and contras about it”.
