“Bez Bileta” makes best video, records best album and becomes rock king
A band “Bez Bileta” has become the rock king of 2009. The band has also been awarded in such nominations as “Album of the year” (“Africa”) and “Video of the year” (song “Africa”). The award ceremony took place yesterday evening in a Minsk club “Reactor”. The organizers awarded prizes in 14 nominations 7 of which had no alternatives.
The jury suddenly decided that the song “Rose-colored glasses” by “Lyapis Trubetskoi” was the best song of the year. Nasta Shpakouskaya from the band “Naka” became the rock princess, Zmitser Vaitsyushkevich - the best singer and “Neuro Dubel” was awarded for “A great contribution in the development of Belarusian rock music”. “The Toobes” were announced to be the discovery of the year.
There were also awards in two new nominations – “Rap project” and “Return of the year”. “Non-typical variant” and “Zhnyuv” won in them without any competition.
