Belarusians bring food, alcohol and clothes from abroad

Our citizens export cigarettes, alcohol, petrol, diesel oil, sugar, cereals, macaroni, meat, clothes and footwear from Belarus.

This is the result of the surveys conducted at the state border on September 20 and 21. More than 4200 out of 8000 questionnaires were filled in.

The questions were about people’s plans: how many days they were going to spend abroad, why and how much money they expected to spend there.

The authorities were studying the situation before introducing the 100-dollar exit fee, Internet users thought. The National Bank claimed that they were studying shuttle trading.
