Belarus nuclear power plant 6-8 months ahead of schedule (video)

The information was presented at the opening of the VI International Specialized Exposition and Conference Atomexpo – Belarus 2014 in Minsk (BELTA photo).

The Belarusian nuclear power station will be built 18 kilometres away from Astravets, Hrodna Province. About 2 thousand specialists are working at the construction site, ONT reports.

The construction of the second NPP unit is 6-8 months ahead of schedule now. The first unit is being built according to the schedule. The station is expected to cover the construction expenses in 15 years, Belarus 1 reports.
