Belarusian MFA welcomes lifting of sanctions

The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes the decision of the EU Foreign Ministers to lift most Belarus sanctions.

"This decision is an important step on the way to the normalisation of relations and it gives new opportunities for expanding Belarus-EU interaction on a higher level,” MFA press secretary Dzimtry Mironchyk said.

This measure corresponds to the interests of Belarus, the European Union and the whole European region, the Belarusian authorities believe.

Belarus is open for a constructive dialogue with the European Undine and its member states in all the matters of mutual concern, the MFA announced.
