Belarusian MFA ready to help settle Russia-Ukraine conflict

Euroradio asked him whether our country would recognize the results of the Crimean referendum. All conflicts should be settled in diplomatic ways without armed resistance nowadays, the representative of the Ministry replied.

Dzmitry Mironchyk: “Belarus is interested in stable political, economic and humanitarian relations with all our brotherly neighbouring states. We are ready to do everything possible to help restore the relations between Russia and Ukraine. We have always said that all conflicts should be settled in diplomatic ways – by means of a dialogue.  There should be no armed resistance on any side.”

However, this reply does not answer the question about the recognition of the Crimean referendum results, Euroradio noted. Nevertheless, this was the answer, the diplomat said.
