Belarusian journalist Alyaksandr Berazenka beaten in Donetsk
He has been beaten after shooting a video report near the building of Donetsk Oblast Administration today.
Four young people followed the journalist, BelaPAN reports. He tried to walk away but they caught up with him, dragged him to a back street and beat him there. Barazenka got a flat lip and was hit in the stomach a few times. “I am okay,” Barazenka said.
Separatist provocations have been organized by pro-Russia activists for a few days in Donetsk, Lugansk and Kharkiv Oblasts of Ukraine. Adherents of runaway ex-President Victor Yanukovich, local criminals and Russians are also taking part in them, the Ukrainian authorities say.
