Belarusian Il-76 returns to Minsk after humanitarian mission in Haiti

The second Il-76 belonging to a Belarusian airline “Transaviaexport” has landed in the national airport “Minsk” after a humanitarian mission in Haiti. “Minsk-News” reports that the airline “Transaviaexport” is an official UN carrier. The UN sent two Il-76 planes to deliver humanitarian cargos to Haiti soon after the news about an earthquake in the state had arrived.

The first plane returned home two weeks ago. The second one has successfully landed now. The crews of the planes are the only Belarusians who worked in Haiti after the catastrophe.
