Belarusian Andrei Shychko wins Grand Prix at International Young Pianists Contest
A 14-year-old Belarusian Andrei Shychko has won a Grand Prix at the VII International Young Pianists Contest “Footstep towards mastery”. BelTA informs that the contest took place in Saint Petersburg.
Andrei is a pupil of the Republican gymnasium-college of the Belarusian State Musical Academy.
The contest “Footstep towards mastery” is very popular in the musical world. It joined the European Union of Youth Musical Contests in 2000.
