Belarus may introduce inter-bank identification system
Belarus may introduce the inter-bank system of identification. This was announced by Director General of the department for development of digital banking technologies of the National Bank Aliaksandr Sotnikau.
He noted that the system launch project is ready and is being approved. According to him the system is scheduled for launch in 4th quarter of 2016.
Interbank identification system will increase the availability of banking services and products for the Belarusian citizens. That means that the implementation of this project will allow the person to identify her or himself once in any bank, and then to receive services and to purchase products in any other Belarusian bank via the Internet.
