Belarus develops truck without driver

Belarus is using space technologies to develop an unmanned truck. Designers believe this quarry dump-truck will be able to push away competitors at the world market.
The ONT television channel reports the first multi-ton unmanned truck will have been built this summer. Designers say it can be controlled without leaving the office, using the state-of-the-art laser equipment that will allow the truck to operate in bad weather like fog or dust.

The mass production of the Belarusian truck is planned to begin after it will be unveiled at an international exhibition in Hannover, Germany.
