Belarus to ban alcohol for youth under 21

The Belarusian government is set to propose a new legislation on the national health. Under the law, young people under 21 years old could be banned from using alcohol beverages, Belarus Vice PM Aliaksandr Kasinets said in an interview with Ezhednevnik newspaper. According to Kasinets, the state losses due to medical treatment of the country's labor force amount to Br3,750 trillion annually. Additionally, Br500 billion are paid to cover medical leaves.
