Basketball: Tsmoki-Minsk's ex-CEO on trial on Minsk
The trial of ex-CEO of basketball club Tsmoki-Minsk Kanstantsin Sheravera will stand in Minsk Maskouski District Court at 10.30 a.m. on December 16. He is accused of power abuse and misappropriation and is facing up to 12 years of imprisonment, sputnik.by reports.
Sheravera was arrested in April 2014. The club CEO created a number of ways of misappropriation of the state club’s money in 2010-2014, the investigators found out. He used the money that belonged to Tsmoki-Minsk to pay for the celebration of his anniversary. He also gave himself extra wages for nothing.
Kanstantsin Sheravera stole more than 7 billion roubles, the Investigation Committee reports. His property costing 2 billion roubles has been arrested.
