Application for “Chernobyl Way” sent to Minsk City Executive Committee
The format of the action is traditional: gathering near the Academy of Sciences at 5.45 p.m., walking towards the Park of Peoples’ Friendship at 6.30 p.m.
and a small meeting after the manifestation.
One of the action’s initiators, executive secretary of the steering committee for the creation of the party “Belarusian Christian Democracy” Dzyanis Sadouksi has informed BelaPAN that the application was sent on the evening of April 4.
"A meeting of the steering committee of “Chernobyl Way” took place on Friday, April 1. We elaborated the final format of the action. It is traditional: gathering near the Academy of Sciences at 5.45 p.m., walking towards the Park of Peoples’ Friendship at 6.30 p.m. and a small meeting after the manifestation”, - said Sadouski.
Besides Sadouksi, the head of the steering committee of “Chernobyl Way” – Yury Hadyka - and one of the leaders of the entrepreneurs’ movement Mikalai Pahabau have signed the application.
"We are ready to discuss the plan of the meeting and manifestation with Minsk City Executive Committee. If the number of participants does not exceed 5 thousand people, we will lead the column in pedestrian areas”, - said Sadouski.
