Alyaksandr Mіlіnkevіch conducts meeting with French Minister of Foreign Affairsv
The leader of the movement “For Freedom” Alyaksandr Milinekvich is visiting France. He has already met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France Bernard Kouchner. It lasted for about an hour.
B.Kouchner wondered what his country could do in order to realize the EU policy in connection with Belarus. Let us remind you that France will be presiding in the European Union starting from July.
A.Mіlіnkevіch told the French Minister about the necessity to support the civil community of Belarus. He meant the repressed in the first place and the support of independent mass media (radio, Internet-editions, TV and local bulletins), and the support of youth and educational programmes.
The politicians also discussed the issue of creation of a “travel card” in order to promote the Europeanization of Belarus and discussed the possible construction of a nuclear power plant in Belarus.
