Lukashenka to visit Moscow

Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s two-day visit to Moscow will start on Thursday, May 7. He will take part in festive events before the Victory Day. Some of them will be organized by Belarusians. Lukashenka will also take part in an unofficial CIS summit.

The president will return to Minsk on May 8. He will not take part in the Victory parade in Moscow because he is going to participate in the Victory Parade in Minsk on May 9. Alyaksandr Lukashenka explained to Chinese mass media not long ago why he would have to stay in the Belarusian capital on Victory Day (see the video).

The Belarusian military will take part in the Victory parade in Moscow while Russians will bring their military equipment to take part in the parade in Minsk.
