Fire safety on Lukashenka's agenda amid heat wave
President Lukashenka will meet government officials to discuss fire safety in forests, agricultural territories and peat bogs, BELTA reports.
A heat wave hit Belarus in the third decade of July. 216 fires were registered in the country between July 26 and August 1. Almost half of them started in Brest Province. As of August 4, it is forbidden to visit forests in all the provinces.
