Action “Give Belarus a voice!” to take place all over Europe
A pan-European action “Give Belarus a voice!” will take place the night between 18-19 March (Tuesday-Wednesday).
Statues in European capitals’ centres will be gagged to symbolize the absence of the freedom of speech in our country. Pictures of the action will be published in the local press and at www.jef.eu. A youth movement JEF coordinates the action.
It is reported that the aim of the action is to draw the attention of young Europeans to the constant violation of human rights in Belarus and to the absence of the freedom of speech.
