70 percent of Belarusians, Uzbeks and Tadjiks are happy with life

Around 70 percent of Belarusians are satisfied with their life, according to the report "The Life in a Transition Period" relased by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

28,000 people in 29 countries were polled during the research. The same percentage of happy citizens were found in Slovenia, Uzbekistan and Tadjikistan. Some 50 percent of the polled people in Russia said they were happy. The report said around 80-90 percent of people in the western Europe and the United States expressed their satisfaction with the living conditions.
