21:05 Lukashenka tells Al Jazeera that no stability in Europe without Belarus

The Belarus President on March 1 used the Arabic television channel Al Jazeera to communicate with Europe, the United States and Russia.
To Europe, he proposed to stop looking at Belarus through a fence.

“Without Belarus, there will be no quiet Europe. Europe has realized that if there is no stability in Belarus, there will be no stability in Europe. We need to stop looking at each other through a fence”.

Lukashenka proposed to the United States to discuss any conditions for cooperation. “But they should be acceptable. The U.S. should not put forward absurd conditions, which we will not accept, of course,” the Belarus president warned.

The Belarusian ruler also advised Russia to drop her policy of blackmail. “Whatever the relations with the Russian leadership are at the moment, we will not betray the Russians. We will not play with sacred things. There must be a shift from the policy of blackmail to a normal dialogue”.

It is worth noting that these statements were voiced during an interview with an influential Arabic TV channel. Possibly, Lukashenka wanted to display to his eastern "mediators" that how easily he could converse with the world's big shots.
