A journalist from “Sovetskaya Bielorussia” was beaten and a First Channel camera crew lost their cassette while trying to make a report about an outhouse that had fallen down.
According to a reporter from “SB” Andrei Novіkau, the ATN camera crew approached the private house on March 14. They were going to make a report about the incident. But the owners of the house took away their cassette and threatened them saying they would break the camera.
Novikau went to the house on March 15. He was going to make a report about it.
When the reporter entered the house to ask for permission to take pictures there, two men (one of them said he was the owner of the house) tried to take away his camera and hit him in the groin five times. Novikau sent a complaint to the police.
