11 independent observers ousted from polling stations in 4 days

За чатыры дні з выбарчых участкаў выдалілі 11 незалежных назіральнікаў

11 independent observers from the campaign Right of Choice-2015 were ousted from polling stations in 4 days of the early vote in Belarus. Most of them tried to photograph something, talk to voters, organize online broadcasts at polling stations or they complained about the improper way of polling boxes sealing.

Most of the observers appealed the committees’ decisions to send them away.

Some observers were allowed to work after lodging complaints to district election committees. It happened in Babruisk. Observers were refused accreditation because there were no seals on their organization’s documents. They were allowed to work after lodging a complaint to the district election commission and a warning was pronounced to head of the polling site commission.
