Sadouski: 24 independent observers ousted from polling stations
Dzianis Sadouski who coordinates the Right to Choose 2015 campaign told Euroradio about the situation with violations at polling stations. The campaign initially fielded around 1400 observers. As of writing, 24 observers have been ousted from the polling stations.
The Right to Choose 2015 campaign has recorded a total of 1070 violations of electoral laws during the whole period of early voting and Election Day. 391 violations were filed in an official complaint.
Unconducive conditions for the work of observers, coercion to vote early, voting 'carousels' and insufficient safety of ballot boxes at night and during lunch breaks top the list of the most common and numerously repeating violations.
