Nicolás Maduro wins election in Venezuela
Such are the official results of the presidential election that took place on Sunday. Maduro got 50,66%, Capriles 49,07%.
There were 7 people running for President. However, only two of them had real chances to win - the mentioned Nicolás Maduro, ally of the deceased President Hugo Chávez, and the opposition candidate Henrique Capriles.
The election results were announced with a considerable delay. Maduro got 50,66%,
Capriles - 49,07%.
Nicolás Maduro's supporters started celebrations in Caracas streets right after
the election results had been announced.
Henrique Capriles does not recognize the election results.
During voting, unknown Peruans hacked Maduro's micro blog in Twitter. They wrote about the deception of the voters on his behalf, informs RIA Novosti.
