New BATE stadium 50% done (photo)

The stands and columns have been installed recently. Now the builders are waiting for warmer weather to start active work.

The construction has been delayed a little. Deputy governor of Minsk Province Anatol Mirchuk arrived in Barysau to study the reasons for it, the First TV channel reports. Many problems were caused by "the parallel designing method" – the object had not received all the project documents so far.

The new stadium will be the 4th UEFA category. It will allow the highest level matches including semi-finals of the Champions League to be played in Barysau.
