Freedom Day in Poland (schedule)
Manifestations will be organized in Warsaw and Poznan and the festival "Solidarni z Białorusią" will be held in Gdansk.
A manifestation with white-red-white flags ill start in Plac Trzech Krzyży in Warsaw at 1 p.m. on March 23. The column will head for Plac Zamkowy where a meeting with Belarusian politicians and a festive concert will begin at 2 p.m.
A manifestation will also be organized in Poznan. Facebook community memebrs are discussing the final schedule. The manifestation will most likely start in Plac Wolności and finish near the monument of Adam Mickiewicz on March 24.
The traditional festival "Solidarni z Białorusią" will be held in Gdansk on March 21-23. Debates about Belarusian culture will be held in Gdansk University Library on March 21. Painter Nika Sandras, manager for Belarusian Culture in Poland Ihar Znyk and vocalist Nasta Nyakrasava will take part in them. Nika Sandras' exposition "Scratches" and a concert of the band Folkroll will be organized in the Baltic Cultural Centre on March 22. The bands Harotnica and :B:N will give concerts in the club "Buffet" at Gdansk shipyard on March 23.
