A special commission is going to decide what the new stadium will look like.  Representatives of the NOC, Ministry of Sport, Minsk City Executive Committee and Union of Architects have selected several nominees.

“We need to chose the winner now. Additional questions have to be answered too: about the designing and the cost, - director of the stadium "Dynama" Yury Kryvadubski explained. – A picture is only the begging of the work. A lot depends on the cost of the new arena."

The director of "Dynama" has not seen the projects and is not a member of the commission. The projects were not published on the Internet and the public did not have access to them.

But Euroradio has found the projects. There are ideas suggested by Belarusian and foreign designers. The names of the authors are hidden. It may have been done for impartiality.

The winner will be chosen within the next two weeks, Minsk City Architecture Committee says.

Meanwhile, the dismantling of the stadium "Dynama" is still in process. The pace has slackened because the final project has not been chosen yet.

A community work day was organized at the stadium on December 1 – the old seats were removed. Two months has passed and little has changed since then.

However, the entrepreneurs who worked near the main entrance have been moved from there.

“I worked over there and now everyone has moved here – one of the entrepreneurs pointed at his kiosk. – I have seen some reconstruction projects on the Internet. It is a dream I can tell you what the future will be like: we will probably be ousted from here. If it were a hockey stadium, it would have been made decent long ago."
