Ministry of Defense: Russian troops to go home by September 30

The Russian troops that have arrived in Belarus to take part in the maneuvers West-2017 will return home by September 30. Belarusian troops will return to their cantonment areas by the same day, head of the Intentional Military Cooperation Department of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense Major General Aleh Voinau said at a briefing dedicated to the military exercise on Wednesday. More than 7 thousand Belarusian soldiers and about 3 thousand Russians will take part in the maneuvers on the territory of our country, he reminded.

It means that Russian soldiers may stay in Belarus for up to 10 more days after the maneuvers end on September 20.
