Anatol Lyabedzka ready to withdraw from election at last stage

Anatol Lyabedkza, the leader of the United Civil Party and a presidential contender, has announced that his initiative group has already collected 50 thousand signatures. He told it to BelaPAN during his trip across Homel Province. He was taking part in pickets in his support there.

It does not matter whether the initiative group can collect 100 thousand signatures (this is required for the registration), the politician said. The presidential campaign is a chance to communicate with people. ‘The door will be closed’ right after the election and it will be impossible to contact voters, he believes.

If he is registered, he will withdraw from the election at the last stage, Anatol Lyabedzka added.
