Ukrainian Natallya Krasnyanskaya wins at “Slavonic Bazaar”

A representative of Ukraine Natallya Krasnyanskaya has won the Grand Prix of 10 thousand USD at the 16th International singers’ contest “Vitsebsk-2007”.
The awards ceremony took place in Vitsebsk Region Philharmonic Society. The awards were given out by the head of the jury Kim Breitburg. The first 6 thousand dollar prize was divided between a Belarusian Georgii Kaldun and a Slovenian Nushka (3 thousand USD for each of them).

The second prize of 4 thousand dollars will be brought to Romania by the youngest participant of the contest – the 16-year-old Alina. The third prize (2 thousand dollar to each winner) was given to Sebastian Playvinski frorm Poland and a Serbian singer Anya Milenkavich.

Another Belarusian participant Hanna Blahava received a diploma of the contest. One of the favourites, a Russian participant Rodion Rous, did not manage to win. He was awarded with a special Uladzimir Mulyavin’s prize “For the best representation of the national idea and masterly performance”.

The Russian sang the song “Charmed” by “Pesnyary” in Belarusian. Kaldun and Rous received note-books from the parliamentary council of the Union of Russia and Belarus. Jamic Jaz from Uzbekistan received the prize of the Russian mass media. The “Belavia” company gave the Belarusian participant the right to make free flights for 4 thousand USD during a year.
