Ukraine parliament simplifies visa regime with EU

The Ukrainian parliament, Rada, on Tuesday ratified an agreement which simplifies a visa regime with the European Union, reports the Unian official news agency.
Under the agreement, some categories of the Ukrainian citizens, including the parents and children of the Ukraine nationals who have a EU residence permit, students and the citizens travelling with humanitarian purposes, journalists, professional transporters, train crews will be issued EU visas free of charge.

The deal also envisages that visa fees will not exceed the cost of Eur35.
