Slonim private entrepreneurs continue striking
More than 300 private entrepreneurs continue striking in the town of Slonim in Hrodna Region. They are protesting against fines and confiscation of goods performed by the local police. Only those who sell perishable goods continue working.
One of Slonim entrepreneurs commented on the situation for ERB:
“We are ready for a compromise to solve problems. But we expect the same from officials. And they do not tend to cooperate with us”.
A meeting of representatives of Slonim entrepreneurs with local officials took place yesterday but they did not manage to reach any agreement.
“People are going to fight till the end”, - says one of the strike’s participants. According to him, entrepreneurs are going to be on strike for several months if their demands are not fulfilled.
