Sidorski taken for Lukashenka in Saint Petersburg

The agency RosBusinessConsulting reported referring to the Russian police that “traffic will be limited in Saint Petersburg in connection with the visit of Alyaksandr Lukashenka”. It was reported that the Belarusian President had arrived there on October 16. However, 20 minutes later the agency checked the preliminary information and reported that it was the visit of the Prime Minister Syarhei Sidorski.  The agency referred to the press service of the foreign affairs committee of the authorities of Saint Petersburg.

The report says that the head of the Belarusian government had arrived in Russia with his family and that it was a private visit. He will stay in the city till October 17 2007. Traffic in some streets may be limited during the Prime Minister’s trips across the city.
