Sidorski suggests doubling base rates

The Prime-Minister of Belarus Siarhej Sidorski suggested that the base rate of the first category, which has been in force since July 2010 and amounts to 90 thousand roubles, should be increased since November 2010 up to 180 thousand Belarusian roubles, informs "Ejednevnik". The Prime-Minister made this statement during the consultative meeting with the Head of the State with regard to social and economic development of Belarus this year and directions of economic growth in the years 2011-2015.

Sidorski suggested salary increase since September 1 for state employees of low-paid categories, young specialists, teachers, culture workers, doctors. He also suggested salary increase for all the other categories of state employees since November 1.
