Russia inspects Belarus diaries

Experts from the Russian Agriculture Control Authority have finished inspecting milk-processing enterprises in Belarus, Alexander Aksyonau from the Belarus Agriculture Ministry said.
The Belarusian side is now waiting for the inspection results. The Russian inspectors have checked a total of 58 diaries within the period from September 15. Since November 1, 2007, only those Belarusian diaries who are cleared by the Russian vet experts will be allowed to supply their products to the eastern neighbor. 


Similar procedures have been applied to the Belarus-made meat and meat products since April 2007. Only 25 ot 37 inspected butcheries were approved by the Russians, according to Interfax news agency.
