Prices for medicines to increase
Vice-PM Anatol Tozik has informed this.
Alongside with that, he has explained that there won't be a rapid increase of prices for medicines in Belarus. Anatol Tozik has explained that medicines were purchased under the official rate until yesterday, and now they will be purchased under the common rate which is higher, BelaPAN news agency informs.
Not only imported medicines will become more expensive, but Belarusian ones as well. The problem is, components of some Belarusian pharmaceutical preparations are often bought abroad, which also requires foreign currency.
A stock of medicines created in Belarus for the last several months will allow to keep old prices for a certain time period.
