Pre-electoral campaigning starts
The candidates for membership in the House of Representatives, who got registration certificates, now have a right to campaign.
According to the information provided by BELTA, they will start making speeches and telling about
their programs on the state radio and TV on August 27. The time and the date
were defined for every candidate by the way of drawing on the registration day.
Candidates for deputies have a right to publish their electoral programs in one
of the Republican newspapers - "Zvyazda", "Respublika",
"Narodnaya Gazeta", or "Belorusskaya Niva", and also in any
of the state regional, district or city newspapers.
Pre-electoral campaigning will last till September 22 inclusively. The main
voting day at the election to the House of Representatives is appointed on
September 23.
