Lukashenka: Why wasn't Australian Open final shown on Belarusian TV?
The head of the state slammed Belarus state TV during yesterday's meeting on support to sports organizations.
"Couldn't they show that game on the second channel? They could," Interfax-West quotes Alyaksandr Lukashenka as saying.
World No 1 Victoria Azarenka of Belarus won the Australian Open for the second time.
"It is an organizational issue, not a financial one," Lukashenka said.
